If you're very, very lucky, you get to work with your heroes.  For this session, I got the chance to work with Doug Pettibone, the world class master guitar slinger who was such a huge part of Lucinda Williams' majestic sound...we had brunch and talked life, and played played played... Check out my tune Rise Sally Rise, it features his perfect, creamy, dirty & lucid tones.  Brian Blade the jazz master is on that track too (but you can really hear him on SeaChange), along with his brother Brady Blade who produced the whole damn show...& dear Jimmy Wooten, the darling bass player who made us all smile.  Can we do it again?
